Wataniya Telecom Maldives launch

Wataniya International has launched Wataniya Telecom Maldives, the new mobile network operator in the Maldives. The Maldives licence was awarded in February 2005 and the initial network build out has seen Wataniya investing over $40m in setting up a new national mobile network in the country.
