Emirates Aviation College receives accreditation for Aerospace Engineering Degree course

The Emirates Aviation College - Aerospace & Academic Studies - has received accreditation from the Ministry of Education for its Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering (BSc.AE).
The accreditation is the first of four degree courses to be accredited by the UAE's Ministry of Education, which also include degree courses in Air Transport Management, Tourism Management and Computer & Electronics Engineering.
Three committees, specialised in these degrees, and headed by the Commission for Accreditation from the Ministry of Education, visited the Emirates Aviation College on a regular basis to make an assessment of the facilities and an audit of the courses. They met with members of the faculty, in addition to a number of students.
The college responded assiduously to every recommendation and suggestion by the committees to ensure that the accreditation standards were complied with, with regard to staffing, IT infrastructure and student welfare requirements.
College Vice President Mohammed Al Budoor said: "I am grateful to the Ministry of Education for its recognition of the academic standards of the college in providing comprehensive training in aeronautical engineering.
"We had made every effort to recruit faculty personnel who hold Ph.Ds in specialised areas for these degree courses.
"We also equipped the college with the required facilities according to the standards of the ministry, with regard to the classrooms, computer laboratories and workshops, in addition to stocking the library with the best reference books to facilitate scientific research by students and faculty."
Mr Al Budoor added: "We look forward to the accreditation of the other three degree courses before the start of the academic year in September."

About Emirates Aviation College
The Emirates Aviation College is the first private educational institute in the UAE and one of the first in the Arab world to offer Bachelor of Science degree courses in Aerospace Engineering and in Air Transport Management.
