Briton Moulds, (38), an industry veteran having served TNT for nearly two decades, will spearhead and strategise the company's immediate Dhs 2.5 million Emirates-wide expansion.

Moulds takes up the new post after four years as National Sales and Marketing Manager at TNT Gulf, where his duties included strategy planning and implementation, cost control and ensuring a robust workable commercial policy.

"This new dedicated UAE appointment is a direct response to TNT's rapid growth in the Emirates of more than 30% over the last year," said Mark Pell, TNT's Managing Director, Gulf and Saudi Arabia.

"We aim to make TNT more client-centric, by ensuring all customer facing processes are owned and managed locally. Benefits of this include empowered country teams, quicker customer responses and local rapport with clients."

Moulds will also be in charge of expanding TNT UAE's infrastructure throughout the Emirates which will entail a 20% growth in the workforce by the year end. He will eventually head up a 300-strong workforce.
