MENA MEDITECH 2005 to showcase the latest in medical technology at Cairo

The country of over 70 million people is following a progressive revamp of its health sector to provide better coverage and facilities as part of a strategic move to improve healthcare provision.

Egypt's sizeable and rapidly expanding market for foreign and medical equipment brings into focus the MEDITECH 2005 exhibition that will showcase latest innovations and competitive developments from leading international exhibitors, playing an important role in bringing in new products to satisfy market demand.

Tele-medicinal technology is among the many products that will be present at the 2005 edition of MENA MEDITECH. Ahmed Ghozzi, Chairman, ACG-ITF said, "MEDITECH is keen to bring new technology to the region. The trade show provides businesses a chance to boost business, and allows buyers to evaluate various offerings before purchasing. This year, we are expecting a substantial increase in both the number of exhibitors and the variety of offerings. MEDITECH 2005 Exhibition, to be held September 22-25 at the Cairo International Fairground is the premier medical trade show in the country and will bring a large confluence of medical technology and instrument manufacturers to the region to increase business and enhance awareness of their offerings.

"The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population have formulated modernization programmes that encourage innovation in the health sector.
