With the perfect role model to follow, women in Qatar have shown great resolve in increasing their presence in the corporate sector. As women with careers, their challenges, needs and aspirations are unique. And so is their expectation from a magazine. Woman Today is Qatar's first working woman's magazine, catering to their distinctive needs. It aims to be a guide to living better and working smarter.

The magazine delivers three values which today's modern woman embodies - Inspiration, Intelligence and Independence. With a mix of articles, interviews, tips and advice presented in contemporary writing and design style, Woman Today is positioned to be the magazine they turn to for career and finance advice, fashion and health tips and articles on cuisine, interiors, home and family.

Talking about the magazine Ravi Raman, Business Manager, said "We have been working on this concept for over 6 months now. With the number of working women in Qatar going up, the market was certainly there, we just had to fine tune our edit mix. World over they are seen as a high potential segment for marketers, working women have high disposable incomes and propensity to buy and I think the Middle East is waking up to this fact."

The group has ambitious plans to promote the magazine and is kicking off the launch with a promotion at Hyatt Plaza & Royal Plaza, two popular malls of Qatar. Oryx Publishing, Qatar's oldest media house also publishes Qatar Today, the only news & business magazine of the country and Qatar Al Yom (its Arabic edition). Both titles are leaders in their field and are respected for their editorial quality and design values.
