Heatstroke, heart attack link

A UAE-based doctor concluded that heart attacks suffered by two labourers, who survived, were brought upon by heatstroke. Ahalya Hospital cardiologist Dr Rajeev Gupta said he believed it is the first time an official medical report in the UAE has included a reference to the connection, according to a report in 7Days. The finding could alter the way work-related deaths and injuries are recorded in the future.
