Lebanese and Greek national Carlos Malliaroudakis has been appointed by InterContinental Hotels Group, the world's most global hotel company, as Executive Assistant Manager at the brand new InterContinental Aqaba in Jordan.
"It is a wonderful experience to walk into a new role at a new hotel - it is going to be a very exciting time with a lot of growth going on around us. I look forward to the challenge," said Malliaroudakis on his appointment.
Targeting mainly Jordanian, European and Gulf travellers, the stunning new property is sure to impress with its location and design. Crowning the peak of the Red Sea on the Gulf of Aqaba, the hotel boasts the longest stretch of private beach in Aqaba - with more than 300 meters of white sand.

Denis Johnson, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, InterContinental Hotels Group Middle East and Africa, said: "I am pleased to congratulate Carlos on his appointment to his new role. The entire team at InterContinental Hotels Group is confident that this seasoned professional will achieve the targets and aims that have been set."
