- PRESS RELEASE
In a step aimed at bolstering its brand equity in the city of gold, the Popley Group announced the launch of its new Popley 22 showroom in Bur Dubai this week, simultaneously unveiling its exquisite `Bandhan' collection.
Mallika Sherawat also unveiled Popley's `Bandhan' collection -- a range of ethnic jewellery that celebrates the richness of tradition in 22k gold. The collection, which includes intricate bridal sets, is also available in oxidized and antique ornate finish to give a classic appeal.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Dilip Popley, Managing Director, Popley Group, said: "The new Popley 22 store is being launched amid the dazzle of rising gold sales and a growing demand for designer jewellery in the region. The decision to launch the second and, thus far, the largest Popley store, reiterates our commitment to offering innovative and up-to-the-minute designs to clients."
"Popley 22 offers stunning collections that blend the best in creativity and the finest workmanship. The new `Bandhan' collection is a bold interpretation of timeless designs, drawing inspiration from the splendour of ancient Indian culture. It is our endeavour to launch a glittering range of collections on a regular basis to meet the changing tastes and preferences of our clients. Popley 22 will soon unveil ethnic collections that embrace the traditional designs of Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Bahrain and Kuwait."
The new Popley 22, among the largest in Meena Bazar, Bur Dubai, is strategically located in the heart of Dubai's flourishing jewellery market. Spanning 5,000 square feet, the store will offer the latest range of 21 and 22 carat jewellery, enabling the Popley Group to consolidate its presence and cater to a new class of fashion-conscious clientele.
Besides Bandhan, the Popley 22 store also offers an array of jewellery in 22k gold, both white and yellow. Also on offer is a range of designer diamond jewellery. Exclusive brands in watches are also available including Longines, Raymond Weil, Rado, Tissot and Tag Heuer.
