Rotana TV foresees promising growth out of Dubai Media City

Rotana is the world's largest producer of Arabic music and has six Free to-air satellite channels: Rotana Music, Rotana Clip, Rotana Tarab, Rotana Khlijiyah, Rotana Cinema and Rotana Zaman. Rotana owns the largest Arabic musical library in the world and supplies Arabic satellite channels with content. Rotana Cinema has more than 2000 movie titles, making it the largest library of Arabic movies.

With the number of broadcasters projected to rise further, Rotana Audio Visual Company considers the opening of a new office at DMC opportune. Established in 1987, Rotana is owned and chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. In 1995, Prince Alwaleed had acquired 25% of Rotana Audio Visual company, the largest Saudi recording label with the top 100 Arab artists. In 2002, his stake in the company was increased to 48%, and in 2003 to 100%.
