Middle East Call Centre 2006 show to feature international 'gurus'
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, August 15 - 2005 at 08:19
- PRESS RELEASE
The region's rapidly growing Call Centre community is slated to come together for its annual Middle East Call Centre meet on January 29/30, 2006.
Dominick Keenaghan, President of INSIGHTS commented, "the Middle East Call Centre market is starting to emerge as a bona fide industry in the region in its own right. Not only are growth rates of the order of 30% per annum, which means we will see almost 1000 call centres in the region within a few years, but different types of call centres are emerging specialized in different skill-sets such as telemarketing and outsourcing services. This growth and diversification is clear confirmation of the important role that call centres provide in a modern economy and the MECC 2006 show seeks to reinforce and expedite this market development by both helping existing call centres to become more efficient and effective, and ensuring new call centres get off to the best possible start."
According to INSIGHTS, MECC 2006 will feature a host of inspiring industry professionals presenting up-to-date guidance and best practice at the main conference complemented with a state-of-the-art exhibition showcasing the latest technology and best business solutions. MECC 2006 is being further enhanced this year with a raft of additional learning and information sharing activities including site visits to some of the leading call centres in the UAE, a special gala awards dinner to celebrate regional successes in the market to date and the launch of a Middle East Call Centre Association.
Continued Keenaghan, "shortly we will announce the rostrum of speakers of MECC 2006, and industry professionals will be delighted to learn that some of the biggest names in the Call Centre industry worldwide such as best-selling author and expert Brad Cleveland will be making the trip to Dubai this time around. The presence of these call centre "gurus" plus the unrivaled range of supporting activities will make this a "must-attend" event for the region and one that should not be missed by anyone keen to develop themselves professionally and grow their call centre operations smoothly."
The MECC 2006 event takes place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Sheikh Zayed road from Saturday January 28th till Tuesday, January 31.
