Iran to reap $43bn in oil revenue

An Iranian official has projected $43bn in revenues from oil export in the 2005-06 fiscal year, the largest since Iran began exporting oil 98 years ago. Tehran has collected $16.3bn since 21 March, which is more than the country's foreign exchange needs, and is likely to lead to a large budget surplus.
