Etisalat enhances access to 'Maysour' service

Emirates Telecommunications Corporation - Etisalat - has announced a change to its 'Maysour' package, a prepaid service for fixed line telephones.
Dr. Sadik Al Jadir, Acting Executive Vice President- Marketing, Etisalat, said: "The 'Maysour' service is a popular package on the fixed line network, and has proven to be ideal for business and residential customers who desire stricter controls on their calling costs. With the new toll-free number, an already convenient package becomes even more easy to use as the customer just needs to remember a short number now."
"The old toll-free number will be active alongside the new one until the end of October 2005, to allow our customers time to get used to the new number", he added.
Customers can subscribe to the 'Maysour' service for AED 170, of which AED 10 is added as calling credit to their 'Maysour' account. Through the year, the customer will receive incoming calls, and will be able to make outgoing calls depending on the available prepaid balance. Customers can top up their calling credit on their 'Maysour' accounts using the prepaid Etisalat scratch cards available easily all over the country.
Additional feature to the 'Maysour' service include Call Waiting, Call Control Barring, and CLIP, or caller number display. These features maybe subscribed to a nominal fee. Customers can also use their 'Maysour' telephones to dial up to the Internet.
