No visit visa change
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, August 16 - 2005 at 08:07
The UAE's Interior Ministry says no change has been made to the issue of visit visas, contrary to earlier media reports that a recent cabinet decision had overhauled the system. Legal adviser to the ministry, Rashid Al Khidhar, told Gulf News a visit visa is issued for two months for a fee of Dhs100, renewable for 30 days for an additional Dhs500. A recent amendment relates only to a special temporary work permit visa.
