OKI kicks off Middle East Channel Training Forum in Jordan
- Jordan: Tuesday, August 16 - 2005 at 12:56
- PRESS RELEASE
Modern Arabian Business Corporation (MABCO), OKI's distributor in Jordan, in co-operation with OKI Printing Solutions, kicked off yesterday a three-day event that will provide extensive technical support training for a number of OKI country distributors in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Syria and Kuwait.
"OKI products have specific differentiators when compared to other printing solutions in the market: speed, performance and reliability. By ensuring that local repair centers across the Middle East have the technical expertise to provide comprehensive after-sales service and technical support to equipment that may need fine-tuning or adjustment, we are ensuring that OKI customers across the region continue to be delighted with OKI's offerings in the market," said Nader Hasan, Oki product manager of MABCO Jordan.
The event will focus on increasing the distributors' technical knowledge on the latest range of OKI Monochrome Multifunction and Dot Matrix products, as well as Monochrome page printers. Delegates will be able to network and learn about the latest OKI technologies that bring important cost of ownership benefits to their enterprise and SMB customers. OKI engineers who have flown in from the UK will also spend a day working with MABCO technicians to provide them with additional hands-on training and technical expertise that will help them work more effectively in workshops and customer-facing environments.
"Two months ago, we announced the establishment of our Middle East headquarters so that we can work more closely with our channel partners and help them differentiate themselves in this highly competitive market. The event in Jordan today is just one of the many ways we will help our partners become more competitive by selling products that not only are superior in performance but are supported by exceptional after-sales support and service," said John Ross, general manager Middle East, OKI Printing Solutions. "We'll be rolling out similar events in the region over the next few months that focus on OKI's latest range of colour printers and multi-function products."
MABCO was appointed as OKI's distributor in Jordan for some of its fax and telecom products in 1983 and later as a distributor for its printing solutions in April this year. Since then, the company has worked closely with a number of major organizations in the Kingdom, including Arab Bank, the Jordan Armed Forces, the Public Security Department and Royal Jordanian Airlines, among others.
