WGI, Takreer refinery deal

Washington Enterprises Emirates, a subsidiary of the US-based Washington Group International, has won a contract from Abu Dhabi oil refining Company to perform engineering and design services for a sulphur handling facility at the Ruwais Industrial complex. Takreer is expanding its sulphur handling capacity in response to growth of the oil, gas and petrochemical market.
