Stunning refurbishment completed at InterContinental Jeddah

InterContinental Hotels Group - the world's most global hotel company - announced that the InterContinental Hotel Jeddah has completed the property's room renovations.
Overlooking the Red Sea, enjoying a unique location on the corniche, minutes away from the business district and the airport, the InterContinental Jeddah has experienced exceptional occupancy rates since its opening in 1992.
Each of the hotel's 350 rooms has undergone a radical facelift from floor to ceiling retaining the InterContinental Jeddah's reputation as one of the Kingdom's premiere hotels.
A contemporary design combined with luxurious modern dark wood furniture, lightly coloured fabric and the latest in in-room technology allows for a comfortable yet contemporary stay for guests, satisfying both the needs of business and leisure travellers.
The most important innovation, and definitely a "first" in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is the unlimited, state-of-the-art high speed internet connection available on a complimentary basis in all deluxe, premium and Club InterContinental rooms and suites.
Another new feature is the interactive "Guest link" television, which is now available in every room as well as an additional "Plug and Play" device providing guests with an easy connection solution to directly access the internet.

The InterContinental Jeddah also took the opportunity to refurbish the 'Club InterContinental' service, confirming its status as the best and most exclusive in the city.
"A lot of new privileges have been added to our Club InterContinental, complimentary Limousine airport pick-up, personalised Instant Check-In, welcome drink and hot towel on the third floor Club InterContinental Lounge, brand new in-room DVD / CD player, complimentary beverages from the mini bar, complimentary laundry, complimentary overnight shoe shine and complimentary Kingdom wide fax sending from the Club InterContinental Lounge." explained Weinmann. The standard Club InterContinental benefits remain, such as around-the-clock room service, business centre access, health club access, complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and evening savouries buffets in the Club InterContinental Lounge, VIP amenities and complimentary daily newspapers.
Another popular addition to the Club InterContinental is the daily "Good Night Service" available every evening between 8:30pm and 9:30pm, whereby all Club InterContinental guests are wished a good night through being served a choice of Arabic coffee or creamy home-made hot chocolate at the door of their room.
