TBWA\RAAD appoints new creative director for Dubai office

In a wave of expansion, TBWA\RAAD has appointed Shehzad Yunus as Creative Director of its Dubai-based agency.

Shehzad, aged 36, has worked in the advertising industry for 19 years, gaining more than 35 regional and international awards.

He has worked for a number of the top-ranking advertising agencies in both India and the Middle East including Lintas (now Lowe), Team Y&R Dubai, and most recently Impact BBDO for three and a half years, and now joins TBWA\RAAD to inject further creative prowess in to its awarded work.

During his career, Shehzad has worked with such multinational and Middle East brands as Citibank, Unilever, Colgate Palmolive, Jeep/Chrysler, Citizen, Jumeirah International, Dubai Properties, Emirates Airlines, Bur Juman and Iridium Satellite Phone global campaign.

TBWA\RAAD Chairman and CEO Mr Ramzi Raad welcomed the appointment saying:" Shehzad has long had a reputation for 'changing the rules' and, as this is the company motto, we look forward to his creative direction to further raise the bar on the road to producing world-class award-winning work for our clients, as a part of the TBWA\RAAD family."

Kristian Sumners, Chief Creative Officer TBWA/RAAD Middle East agreed. "Shehzad is what David Ogilvy used to call 'A gentleman with brains'. We're very lucky to have him," he said
