UBL re-brands UAE branches

Pakistan's United Bank, majority owned by the Abu Dhabi Group and UK's Bestway Holdings, plans to re-brand and reposition its UAE branches in order to position itself as a global bank in the country, CE Atif R Bokhari told Gulf News. The bank earned a pre-tax profit of $60m during H1 2005, up 80% over the same period last year.
