Oracle, the world's largest enterprise software company, has assembled some of the company's leading technical experts for the event, in an attempt to guide Bahrain's business community on how to streamline their organizations using Oracle's E-Business Suite applications and technology solutions.

Ayman Abouseif, managing director, Gulf States, Oracle, commented: "Oracle's benchmark-setting E-Business Suite ERP solution is designed to streamline the most challenging business processes facing organizations - providing automated solutions which manage complex procedures such as supply chain optimization, utilization of assets and corporate performance management."

"All industry verticals can benefit by making these processes more efficient, whether in energy, telecommunications, finance, tourism or construction. Oracle Applications Day aims to highlight these benefits - giving Bahrain's business leaders the edge in an increasingly competitive market," continued Abouseif.

The Manama event, to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on 29 August 2005, will comprise a number of talks, all aimed at illuminating the practical, cost-saving business advantages that Oracle E-Business Suite can bring.

A session on Oracle Financials will show how finance directors can gain complete visibility into their company's finances, based on real-time data - increasing efficiency and reducing overall cost. In a discussion on Oracle's Human Resource Management System, decision makers will learn how to efficiently manage and align their workforce with wider business objectives, by automating and providing an overview of the company's HR strategy, benefits, payroll, recruiting, time management and training processes.

Further sessions will show how Oracle Supply Chain allows organizations to optimize the flow of materials, cash and information across their supply chain, while a showcase of Oracle's Customer Relationship Management software will reveal how small, medium and large businesses can achieve an information-driven sales, service and marketing process that addresses every phase of the CRM cycle, from campaigns to automatically dispatching field technicians to remote locations.

An increasing number of Bahraini companies are deploying ERP applications, as they attempt to gain an edge on their rivals, including stiff overseas competition. Recently, Bahrain's Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo (E.K. Kanoo) Group, the Kingdom's exclusive distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles, chose to implement Oracle E-Business Suite as part of its long-term vision to boost service and support levels for its group companies and divisions and its extensive customer base.

"Oracle Application Day will show why E.K. Kanoo, and other companies in Bahrain, are implementing Oracle solutions in order to gain a tactical advantage against their competitors, guaranteeing maximum return on their IT investment," concluded Abouseif.
