- PRESS RELEASE
FileNet Corporation, the leading provider of Enterprise Content and Business Process Management solutions, has announced that its FileNet P8 platform, has achieved SAP certification for integration of its new J2EE-based Application Connector with the SAP NetWeaver open integration and application platform.
The SAP certification will allow FileNet P8 the right to use the 'SAP Certified Integration' tagline as well as gain listing in the SAP online partner and product directory. FileNet P8 is a reliable and scaleable enterprise platform that allows customers to streamline and automate business processes, access and manage all forms of content, and automate records management to help meet compliance needs.
Carlo Stellati, Vice President, South Europe, Middle East and Africa, FileNet, said: "We see the SAP certification as recognition for our highly efficient solution portfolio that supports SAP solutions. The certification is reflective of FileNet's commitment to the strategic partnership with the world's leading provider of business software solutions."
"FileNet Application Connector's open J2EE architecture is a proven platform that allows businesses to significantly reduce systems management and enterprise deployment costs. The J2EE platform simplifies enterprise applications by basing them on standardized, modular components, and avoids the need for complex programming by handling details of application behaviour automatically," Stellati added.
A SAP Software Partner, FileNet provides ECM solutions that interface with SAP business applications, share common architectures and leverage open standards. In 1996, FileNet became one of the first ECM vendors with a solution certified to integrate content management solutions with SAP R/3, and since then, more than 350 large corporations using SAP solutions worldwide have chosen FileNet's ECM platform to enhance system performance.
