The evening witnessed a sizeable crowd of top regional retailers who turned up to witness the launch. Present at the event was Ali Bin Saif, the Chairman of Bin Saif Group and Orange Sports, the official distributors for Prince lifestyle categories in the UAE.
Speaking to the press Ali Bin Saif said: "Orange Sports will further strengthen its presence in the local market by opening their first Prince branded store at Bur Juman one of Dubai's most popular shopping Malls soon. It will offer greater choice to consumers in both the sports and lifestyle categories and will carry the most complete range of Prince products, including active and fashionable product lines such as the new Revolutionary 03 tennis range, lifestyle footwear and apparel collections."
Said Mike Ballardie, Managing Director of Prince Europe, Middle East & Africa, ''We are very happy to extend our partnership to Orange Sports as our exclusive Franchisee to open Prince branded Stores in UAE and we are excited at the prospect of opening of the first world wide Prince Store in Dubai later this year.''
Also present was Masood Tahir, Group Sales Manager at Orange Sports. He said: "Plans are underway to establish Prince lifestyle range at all key retail stores across the UAE by innovative sales and marketing strategies ...not ruling out the possibility of Maria Sharapova herself coming to Dubai in the near future."
