Meton Group to succeed META Group

In order to substantiate the promise of local expertise in the Middle East, a regional headquarter in Dubai Internet City, Meton Group FZ-LLC is being established to be built out into a major hub.

Named after the Greek astronomer, visionary, and mathematician on whose calculations the Greek calendar was based, the fast growing team of about 200 individuals today, include numerous ex-analysts from META Group which Gartner acquired earlier this year. The "Technology Research Backbone" also includes ex- co-workers of Giga Information Group and Forrester.

Instead of selling just US products, Meton Group concentrates on local customer requirements and delivers valuable problem solutions, providing research both as standardized, multi-client, packages and as individual components:-

EMEA HQ in Germany has been founded by Andreas Zilch and Andreas Burau, both are former META Group managers.
