PCFC to promote its innovative portal DubaiTrade.ae during GITEX 2005
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, August 30 - 2005 at 13:58
- PRESS RELEASE
Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) has announced its participation in GITEX Dubai 2005, under the Dubai eGovernment umbrella.
During GITEX Dubai 2005, PCFC will be promoting its innovative portal www.dubaitrade.ae, which combines all electronic services provided by PCFC. DubaiTrade.ae simplifies the trade process for commercial customers and requires only a single password to access all services, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
DubaiTrade.ae brings together a host of companies that trade and interact with PCFC, into a single community, ensuring that they become partners in the trade process. The portal consolidates all the services of 'my DPA', 'eMirsal', 'e-ATA' and 'my Jafza' sites within a single bilingual (Arabic-English) experience portal.
"Participating in GITEX Dubai has been high on PCFC's agenda over the years, as we look to adapt the latest technologies within all our departments. We have an underlying objective of ensuring efficient and high quality services to our customers, and providing various electronic services helps us in achieving this objective," said Adel Al Ashram, Director, DubaiTrade.ae. "GITEX serves as an ideal forum for us to stay abreast with the latest developments in information technologies and to promote DubaiTrade.ae."
"We will be making some significant announcements with regard to our portal www.dubaitrade.ae during GITEX Dubai. We have formulated a new business action plan for the portal, which is aimed at enhancing customer service and satisfaction objectives, establishing high-level awareness of DubaiTrade and enhancing communication. A migration plan will also be a key element of the action plan," added Al Ashram.
At this year's GITEX, the Dubai eGovernment stand will attract active participation from all government departments in Dubai. There will be a group of workstations to highlight and present all eServices provided through the Dubai eGovernment portal as well as to demonstrate the benefits of electronic transactions to the visitors and end-users.
