Dubai Studio City and Dubai Knowledge Village announce SAE Institute's regional branch in Dubai

Dubai Studio City (DSC) and Dubai Knowledge Village (KV) today announced that SAE Institute, the largest film, audio and multimedia training provider in the world, will open its first regional branch at Dubai Knowledge Village this autumn.
SAE Dubai will initially offer digital media courses specializing in audio engineering and animation.
"We expect that students will be drawn from the entire Middle East and Indian Sub-continent to our new and unique teaching facility. The Dubai Campus will boast state-of-the-art technical and training equipment as well as the most advanced courses," said Romy Hawatt who heads SAE's Strategic Business Development.
SAE, which boasts 46 colleges in 20 countries, will offer its Dubai students the option of commencing their studies in one location and finishing in another, thus allowing for a truly global educational experience.
"With the rapid development of high-value knowledge-based industries in Dubai, we are keen to expand the pool of training providers who can help meet the talent and skill needs of these new sectors," said "Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, CEO of Knowledge Village. "SAE's presence will contribute to the diversity of the media learning choices available in Dubai and support its growth as hubs for both media and learning," he added.

"Over the past few years, Dubai, with initiatives like Dubai Media City and Dubai Studio City, has emerged as the focal point of the media boom in the region. As the industry develops further, we expect institutes like SAE to add tremendous value to the pool of creative media training expertise in the region and contribute to the development of the industry," he added.
Marco Bettelli - the newly appointed SAE Dubai General Manager said: "SAE Middle East students will automatically become part of a worldwide SAE family. Our students will be exposed to the latest techniques, technologies, practices and trends with emphasis not only on practical work skills but also on developing theoretical knowledge and aesthetic values".
Located close to Dubai Media City , the SAE-Knowledge Village branch is also perfectly positioned to assist in the placement of its graduates amongst the 900 plus media companies that operate here.
