Source IT to support major brands at GITEX
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, August 31 - 2005 at 11:46
- PRESS RELEASE
Source IT, one of the region's leading mobile and technology distributors, today unveiled a blueprint which outlines the company's strategies for continuing to deliver innovative distribution solutions to the Middle East Retail Landscape for both their current and prospective Vendor Partners.
Building on the phenomenal success of GITEX 2004 where commendations were received for the unique and refreshing approach to technology product distribution, both trade and consumer visitors will again have the opportunity to engage with key decision makers on how best to enhance "Business to Consumer" relations or "Business to Business" efficiency in the retail logistics supply chain. Source IT will showcase the company's expertise in improving in-store displays, forging promotional tie-ins with major global brands, developing retailer-activities and customer incentives.
To highlight this activity Source IT is finalizing plans for a joint Computer Shopper presence at GITEX via 3 of the regions major retailers. The company will also be revealing further plans for hard box bundling, a concept that Source IT pioneered in the Middle East, whereby products are sold grouped together, adding value to purchases, and providing savings for customers. At the trade show, the company will be making its presence felt through partnership with the new generation mobile device, i-mate.
"Because of the spectacular growth in demand for mobile and technology products and services in the Middle East, new devices and technologies are appearing all the time," explained Ahmed Al Azzawi, director, Source IT. "This abundance of choice makes the role of the retailer all even more crucial. Products need to stand out, store owners need to be informed and customers need to be educated in order for the right buying choice to be made. This is why a core part of Source IT's offering is to work closely with vendors and retailers to develop ways of making this happen."
Demonstrating its expertise in the field of mobility and technology convergence will also be a major factor of Source IT's GITEX presence. Source IT are authorized distributors of some of the leading mobility brands such as i-mate, NAVIGON, Bluetrek, Jabra, Covertec and Leadtek.
"Source IT leads the field in delivering mobile and technology products and because of our success, and the excellent range of exciting devices we distribute, we are preparing for a very busy time at this year's GITEX," said Al Azzawi.
With the Middle East consumer technology landscape growing at faster-than-ever rates, Source IT has proved that by analyzing market trends, anticipating new technology developments and staying close to its partners and retailers, the company has the expertise to deliver a service which stands out from other distributors. At GITEX, technology retailers and IT-communications vendors looking to increase and enhance their regional penetration will be able to learn how to accomplish these feats by talking to leading Source IT experts at the i-mate stand, A6-1, hall 6.
GITEX 2005 takes place at the Dubai World Trade Centre between 25th and 29th September 2005.
