- PRESS RELEASE
Technology experts from some of the United Arab Emirates' leading businesses are all gearing up to attend Oracle Architect Day, to be held on September 5 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Dubai.
Information technology (IT) managers, system integrators, IT consultants and system architects representing the UAE's leading industries - energy, telecommunications, finance, construction and tourism, as well as technology representatives from the government sphere - are expected to attend the day long seminar.
Ayman Abouseif, managing director, Gulf States, Oracle, said: "Oracle's customers in the Middle East have been able to leverage Oracle technology to build and run some of the most complex mission critical applications in the world. The aim of Oracle Architect Day is to guide IT managers and system designers on how to reap similar benefits, by consulting with Oracle experts about their challenges. It also acts as an information exchange - encouraging the flow of ideas and best practices between Oracle and its customers."
Among the core subjects to be discussed are items such as disaster recovery, continuous operation, building scalable infrastructures and designing a security framework. Oracle experts will also advise delegates on how to deploy service-oriented architecture (SOA) to enable business agility and performance.
"At Oracle Architect Day, experts will address some of the most pressing IT and business issues with one singular aim - to make enterprises, as well as medium and small-sized businesses, more efficient, giving them the highest possible return on their technology investment," concluded Abouseif.
