Epson to showcase its range of photo imaging products and laser multifunction devices at GITEX Dubai 2005

In addition, Epson will also promote its convertible laser technology, its new range of large format printers (LFPs) and projectors.

Epson's stand will be divided into different zones such as Business Solutions, Multifunction Devices, Photo Printers, Scanners, Home Photo Studio solutions, Consumer Solutions, Laser Printers, Large Format Printers and Projectors. Visitors to the stand can find a printing, scanning or viewing solution that fully meets their requirement.

Epson's new photo imaging products include its range of digital imaging devices comprising the P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer, F-3200 Film Scanner, PictureMate 100 and PictureMate 500.

The Epson P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer allows users to store and preview digital photos, movies and music. The 3.8 inch Photo Fine display provides excellent definition for unsurpassed picture quality. In addition to the quality photo viewing capabilities, the Epson P-2000 provides support for digital camera and camcorder movies and music files. With a 40 GB hard disk drive, it can double up as a portable storage unit for any PC or Mac files.

Epson's new F-3200 dedicated film scanner offers a cost-effective, high quality film scanning solution and enables professionals and amateur photographers to achieve professional lab-quality results. It is a versatile product which allows users to quickly scan reflective prints of up to 4" x 6" in addition to 35mm film through to 5" x 4" sheet film.

The Epson PictureMate is a compact dedicated 4 x 6" photo printer that works with or without a personal computer. When connected to a computer, it can be used with the supplied photo imaging software or any photo editing or graphics software of your choice. In standalone mode the PictureMate can make prints directly from flash memory cards and can also be connected to any PictBridge or USB Direct Print compatible digital camera. Users also have the option of printing wirelessly from cellphones and PDAs with the optional BlueTooth adapter.

The Business Solutions zone at the Epson stand will showcase products that address the needs of small and medium enterprises. The product line-up will include laser printers, inkjets, advanced multifunction devices, large format printers and high-performance scanners. Visitors to the Business Solutions zone will also be able to watch demonstrations of large format printers that deliver outstanding high resolution photographic prints and border-free printing on all four sides of the sheet.

Multifunction Devices zone (Printer - scanner - copiers) will be dedicated to Epson's various products, ranging from entry-level all-in-ones to advanced models featuring complete print and copy solution whilst maintaining Epson's high standard of quality, speed, style and durability. Highly popular with SMEs and the SOHO segment, these devices function as printers, scanners and colour copiers, combining speed, quality and cost-efficiency in a compact and attractive design.

The Photo Printer zone will showcase Epson's range of digital imaging devices and the Stylus Photo range of inkjet printers including additional options for business use, with their 4 or 6 colour inkjet system for highly detailed images and prints. The extensive range of Epson's inkjet printers is targeted at the user who requires high quality output on a variety of documents ranging from black text only to prints of premium quality.

The Scanner zone includes Epson's wide range of flatbed scanners that deliver high quality images for home users as well as professionals. As visitors browse through the stand, they will see the different types of scanners such as those that make old films and photos new to those providing photo and medium format film scanning solution.

The Home Photo Studio zone will showcase Epson's new photo imaging products such as the P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer, F-3200 Film Scanner, PictureMate 100 and PictureMate 500. These easy-to-use devices not only ensure high quality output but also facilitate compatibility with digital cameras and wireless devices like cellphones and PDAs.

At the Consumer solutions zone Epson will also showcase its extensive range of consumer products meant for homes and small offices, including its value for money laser and inkjet printers and a wide variety of scanners.

The Laser Printer zone will show visitors some of the most advanced Epson laser printers such as the AcuLaser 2600N and the AcuLaser C2600N series of convertible laser printers that allow business users to upgrade from black and white to colour or vice-versa, as and when the need arises.

Epson's range of large format printers will be on display at the Large Format printer zone at GITEX 2005. These hi-tech printers offer high quality output on exhibition graphics, POS displays, CAD and GIS, fine art, photographs and printing proofs, without compromising on either speed or quality.

The whole range of Epson projectors will be on view at the show, including rear projection and home cinema projectors. The home cinema projectors are designed to create big screen excitement in one's home, delivering stunning images on a large screen and top quality sound. In addition, there will be multi media projectors that add value to business presentations and installation projectors for the most demanding environments, projecting over large distances.
