Australian Middle East Jewellery Road Show in September

The first event of its kind, the Australian Middle East Jewellery Road Show will showcase Australian jewellery designs and gems travelling from Sydney to Cairo from 15-18 September, Dubai from 18-21 September, Bahrain 21-25 September followed by a final stop in Beirut from 25-28 September before returning to Australia.

As Australian trade increases in the region, the awareness and presence of Australian jewellery too is being recognised for its quality and innovative design work. Peter Linford, Senior Trade Commissioner for the Middle East region adds, 'the two-way growth is positively booming with outlook trends very strong.'

The jewellery road show is an initiative by the Austrade offices in the Middle East (ME) region with the objective of raising the profile of Australian jewellery in the regional markets aimed at generating new business opportunities and developing successful relationships.

On showcase will be Australian gem designs (mainly opals), precious stones, pearls, gold and diamond jewellery, silver jewellery and some accessories.
