Avaya set to showcase intelligent communications at GITEX

Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, today revealed that that its presence at GITEX 2005 will demonstrate why an increasing number of companies are migrating to Avaya Internet Protocol (IP) telephony and integrated communications ahead of traditional telephony solutions.

With convergence set to be a major theme running through the five-day exhibition, Avaya, with its industry leading portfolio of intelligent business communication solutions, will be the first stop for decision-makers interested in learning more about the benefits of IP. Avaya's IP technology, which integrates voice, video and data into one single network, offers businesses tangible and quantifiable cost-savings, especially when coupled with the company's range of value-added services.

An increasing amount of companies are recognizing the benefits of converged, IP-based communications, a fact confirmed by the recent installation of Avaya's 7 millionth IP telephony line, a landmark achievement for the growing company.
