Visiting Bahrain (16 - 19 September), Dubai (19 - 20 September) and Qatar (20 - 22 September), this year's mission will build on the huge success of the inaugural 2004 visit, which saw the first Motorsport Business Development Mission to this wealthy market region and the creation of many business links.

This mission has recruited 13 companies offering a wide variety of services and products within the automotive and motorsport sectors. The companies that will be led by the experienced MIA CEO, Chris Aylett, are Thompson Heath & Bond Ltd., Human Sciences & Engineering Ltd., Stuart Banks Engineering, Trakbak, Power Racing Promotions, MAHLE Powertrain Ltd., SPA Design, Delivered On Time, TD Travel Group, KHP Consulting, Forsyth Racing Inc., Fairport Construction Equipment and UK Trade & Investment, who are also supporting this mission through their SESA Scheme.

The mission will visit the three new motorsport venues in Bahrain, Dubai and Qatar and activities will partly focus on commercial exploitation of these venues in the future, offering these businesses an unrivalled opportunity to meet and network with key motorsports players in the Gulf. Mark Hughes, Operations Director, Bahrain International Circuit explains, 'Bahrain International Circuit is delighted to welcome the MIA Trade Mission in September, and is fully committed to the development of the motorsport industry in the region as a whole. We are sure that the delegates will be amazed by the enthusiasm and the potential that exists in the Middle East for their services and products.'
