Emirates Post post-offices begin accepting documents under UAE Government's Degree Verification Program

Post-offices across the UAE have started accepting certificates under the Degree Verification Program which is being carried out in partnership with IntegraScreen, one of the world'ss leading providers of immigration screening and document verification services.

This follows the appoinment of Emirates Post as IntegraScreen's exclusive partner in the UAE Degree Verification Program. The project is being carried out by IntegraScreen on behalf of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

The Degree Verification program involves conducting an educational background verifaction for all individuals who are required to produce educational certificates prior to obtaining their UAE residence Visa.

Emirates Post will handle all applications starting from September 4, 2005, through its 78 post offices across the county. Applicants have to pay a fee of per certificate, inclusive of the cost of each envelope.

Mr. Abdullah Al Daboos, Director General of Emirates Post, said: "As the UAE attracts jobseekers from all over the world, it is essential to adopt fool-proof verification techniques to ensure that only genuine candidates are selected for the job market. Emirates Post is glad to support this national initiative by providing convenient single-window services to customers. We will work very closely with IntegraScreen to ensure the success of this project".
