- PRESS RELEASE
The best in skin & hair care products will be featured in Women Expo 2005 with the confirmed participation of The Body Shop in Oman's first-ever exhibition for women, which is scheduled on December 11-17 this year.
Sequeira announced that they are planning to introduce a wider range of make-up during the exhibition. He added that they would also use the event to raise awareness on The Body Shop's "Love Your Body" membership cards, which will be launched in Oman this November. The card entitles members to discounts on their purchases on any of the Body Shop outlets in Oman.
The Body Shop is just one of the growing number of companies that have already reserved space at Women Expo 2005, which will be held at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
"The exhibition gives companies that deal in women's products the opportunity to present their products directly to their target customers," said C.J. Paul, General Manager of Omanexpo, the leading events management company in the Sultanate. "Women Expo 2005 will also feature workshops and seminars designed to further develop the skills and knowledge of women."
Established in the UK in 1976, The Body Shop is globally known for its high quality and naturally inspired skin and hair care products. The company's operations give particular attention to environmental protection, human rights, community trade, and social development. The Body Shop has a long-standing association with the Oman Heritage Gallery, and the company periodically conducts free grooming training programmes for the benefit of various organizations.
