Boeing selects Cognos solutions for enterprise reporting

Cognos, (NASDAQ: COGN; TSX: CSN), the world leader in business intelligence (BI) and corporate performance management, has signed a multi-year agreement with The Boeing Company.
"Business intelligence is one of our forward-looking strategies for information management. We have chosen Cognos as a standard because of its capability in support of our strategy", said Alan Johnson, director of Boeing Information Management for Boeing Information Technology.
Boeing joins the list of leading global organisations that utilise Cognos performance management solutions to enhance their operational effectiveness.

UAE-based airline Emirates is one of Boeing's largest regional customers and recently ordered 30 commercial 777-300ER (Extended Range) aircrafts. It will be one of the world's largest operators of airplanes in Boeing's 777 family.
