'Our Nineteen restaurant has recently been converted into a sales centre for the 'Riffa Views' residential development project,' explained Club general manager, Michael Braidwood. 'The marquee has been erected as a semi-permanent measure and will enable us to offer food & beverage services to larger numbers of people than ever before.'
'The marquee is capable of seating up to 250 guests and offers a perfect out-of-town location for large functions such as wedding receptions or corporate dinners,' continued Maeve Galvin, Riffa's sales & marketing manager. 'Riffa Golf Club has plenty of parking, beautiful views and an excellent catering team from the Gulf Hotel. Anyone interested in taking a look at the marquee with a view to booking a function is welcome to contact the club on telephone 17 750777 to arrange a convenient appointment.'
For smaller, more intimate meetings or meals, a newly finished room inside the clubhouse is also now available. The room can seat up to 50 people for a lunch or dinner function or can be converted into a conference room complete with board table, projector, TV, PA system and so on. For slightly larger groups, the sliding doors connecting the room to the Club's Braids Brasserie can be opened giving a much larger function capacity.
As the weather cools down, guests will soon be able to enjoy yet another new facility - an attractive paved terrace area just outside the clubhouse overlooking both the 9th and 18th greens is expected to be finished within the next few days. Open all day and into the evening, weather permitting, the terrace will offer a fantastic place to relax after a round of golf or to enjoy great food in beautiful surroundings.
