"In this context, the Thailand Exhibition will play a pivotal role in helping Thai exporters reach out to this region.
Based on the overwhelming response we have received from Thai businesses and the support offered by the Thai government, we can reaffirm that Thailand places a great importance on linking businesses to the UAE and other Middle East markets," said Mr. Laohachewin.
"More than 110 exhibitors have confirmed their participation at the Thailand Exhibition in Dubai, and we expect the three day event to significantly augur and foster trade between the two countries," he added.
The exhibitors will display and sell the top 10 Thai exports to UAE, as well as introduce several new services and products including - fresh food, healthcare, beauty and wellness, and decorative items. Key highlights for visitors include the display and presentation of Thailand's most famous exports, the presence of various Thai experts and authorities, and subsidised sales of products on the last day of the exhibition. "The event will also offer visitors free tasting of Thai fresh fruits and foods prepared by six of Dubai's leading Thai restaurants, free medical consultations and traditional Thai foot massages. There will also be a lucky draw with prizes of free trips to Thailand," said Mr. Laohachewin.
