Etisalat Academy organizes the first graduation ceremony for DUBAL employees

As part of a three-year Apprenticeship programme between DUBAL and the Etisalat Academy, the academy celebrated the graduation of the first batch who concluded the first phase of the programme with the academy.
Speaking at the ceremony, John Kaning, Acting Manager Business Development, DUBAL, said: "We are confident that our cadre benefited from the academy training programme which lasted for twelve months and included number of administrative and technical programmes. We are looking towards witnessing all what they learnt during their operations at the company".
Mr. Kaning thanked the Emirates Telecommunication Corporation (Etisalat) represented with Etisalat Academy for their cooperation to conducted this successful programme. He praised also the academy's role in offering unique professional programmes in different fields.
Ali Abbas Mohammed, Training and Development Manager - Dubal, congratulated the Graduates during his speech. He said: "Your Company is proud of you and your unique achievement. You are all heading towards a bright future that is enhanced with hard work, knowledge, and persistency. We are sure that you will all prove yourselves in the market and reach the highest positions."
Moreover, Ali Abbas expressed his gratitude to Etisalat academy and its technical and managerial cadres for their huge efforts and high efficiency in professional and practical training. "This positions the academy as a leading educational institution, not only in the UAE but also in the Gulf Region, Middle East, and North Africa," added Abbas.
Dr. Doaa Fares, General Manager of Etisalat Academy, said: "This 12 month programme focused on the accumulation of scientific knowledge along with practical and technical skills. The enhanced training programme provided trainees with courses focused on technical sciences, computers, Information Technology, mathematics, chemistry, physics, electricity circuits, engineering, statistics, liquid energy techniques, general sciences, English, along with the basics of administration and field work skills. The general manager of the academy wished the graduates great success in their careers and hoped they set an example for the future graduating students.
It is worth mentioning that the academy is training the second batch of DUBAL cadre. The one-year training programme is part of a three-year apprenticeship programme, in which Etisalat Academy take the responsibility of rehabilitating DUBAL's cadre in various training fields as well as supervise them after the training programme conclude in coordination between both parties.
