AMAN launches its 'International Haj/Umrah Takaful Passport' policy online

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company, AMAN, announced that its 'International Haj/Umrah Takaful Passport' is now available online for Haj and Umrah pilgrims in the region and world.
Mr. Hussein Mohammad Al Meeza, Managing Director of AMAN, said: "The initiative sees AMAN again breaking new ground with its Islamic offering as it bids to answer the special requirements of its customers. The Takaful insurance was certified by AMAN'S Board of Fatwah and Shariah."
He added: "The International Haj/Umrah Takaful Passport is one of the most satisfying of our modern Islamic Takaful products. AMAN is proud to provide this product online, especially since the objective is to serve society and draw on the policy's socio-Takaful values to help pilgrims avoid danger during Haj and Umrah."
The policy covers accidents anywhere in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and first class private hospitals have been contracted by AMAN to provide medical services in Jeddah, The Holy City of Mecca and Medina. The Shariah-compliant policy offers compensation for as much as RS50,000 against accidental death or injury during Haj and Umrah.
