Bahrain Oil Minister quits

Bahrain Oil Minister Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa has submitted his resignation, reported Bahrain's Akhbar Al Khaleej newspaper. The Oil Ministry is also likely to be dissolved in favour of a General Oil Organisation, said its sources, who believe the outgoing minister may become the Premier's Court Adviser for Energy Affairs.
