Boodai said 'we are breaking-away from old industry norms by opening new booking and payment channels to give people more control when planning a flight. As of today, travelers can book their ticket-less flights to Jazeera Airways destinations through jazeeraairways.com, by dialing 177, through travel agents, or by dialing *177# for SMS booking'.

'By recruiting a team of international experts in aviation, our heavy investment in booking and payment technology, fully electronically integrated operations, abandoning old-fashioned ticketing, and operating a fleet of single type aircraft, we are able to operate on a very high operational efficiency enabling us to offer below-market fares through-out the year,' explained Boodai

Jazeera Airways will operate brand new Airbus A320 aircraft, one of the most fuel efficient aircraft built today, and maintained on-site and off-site by the world-leading German company Lufthansa-Technik.

The Airline's first-in-the-Middle-East booking system was developed by Navitaire, the world's leading developer of airline booking and revenue management systems. Recent figures have shown a significant increase in Internet penetration in the Middle East, with Kuwait being the forerunner with 22.4% (Internet penetration in Europe averages at 28%).

'We have worked with the best partners in the industry and brought leading international suppliers to the Middle East -some for the first time- to achieve this high-level of efficiency order to offer a unique proposition that empowers people travelling to and from Kuwait,' added Boodai.
