Kraft Foods' Dubai office shifted to Jafza

Kraft Foods Middle East and Africa regional office located in Dubai has decided to shift its office from Dubai to Jebel Ali Free Zone "Jafza",
Mr. Satamian said: "The decision to shift to Jebel Ali was due to expanding operations and the addition of the developing markets division to Kraft Foods business unit in the UAE. Kraft Foods office in the UAE overlooks operations in the GCC region and currently employs over 50 employees from different nationalities.
He added the high level of professionalism; service standards and flexibility provided to Kraft Foods from Jafza had been instrumental in choosing Jafza as the ideal location to base the company's operations in the region.
Kraft Foods is a global leader in branded foods and beverages with 2004 net revenues of more than $32 billion. Built on more than 100 years of quality and innovation, Kraft has grown from modest beginnings to become the largest food and beverage company headquartered in North America and second largest in the world, marketing many popular brands such as Kraft Cheese, Tang, Oreo biscuits, Maxell House Coffee and Toblerone in more than 155 countries. Kraft has more than 98,000 employees operating in 68 countries worldwide. Kraft Foods has over 192 manufacturing and processing facilities worldwide.
Mr. Satamian praised the distinguished services and facilities been presented by Jafza that encourage our company to choose Jafza and set their office for the UAE markets and entire Middle East and Africa.
Mr. Mesmar said: "one of Jafza plans is to focus on attracting the global companies with excellent business reputation and investment to be part of the country's economic development and growth in general and Dubai in particular."
Jafza achieved big growth during the last 20 years of experiences, while number of registered companies reached to more than 5000 working in various and industrial fields, from more than 120 countries worldwide and some of more than 215 is American companies.
