This came in a meeting between Qassim Sultan, Director General of Dubai Municipality, and Piero Corsini, General Manager, IBM for Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa, Austria and Switzerland.
Praising the existing cooperation between the Municipality and IBM, Sultan said the municipality is looking forward to benefit from the latest advanced technologies introduced by IBM in various fields.
The IBM official pointed out that Dubai is setting an example for governments in the region by using the most advanced technologies for serving the public.
The IBM delegation also included Takreem El Tohamy, General Manager, Middle East, Egypt and Pakistan, and Sreeram Visvanathan, Industry Leader, Public Sector.
Also present during the meeting were Hussein Nasser Lootah, Assistant Director General of Dubai Municipality for Planning and Building Affairs who also heads the e-Government Committee, AbdulHakim Malik, Director of Information Technology Department and Ahmed Hashem Bahrouzyan, Head of e-Government Services Section.
