The Samsung pavilion in GITEX, located in Hall B2-1 and spread over 323-sqm, will be designed to offer consumer a direct experience of its 'Imagine' theme. The pavilion will provide an 'Unlimited Living' experience to the high-life seekers and communicate the brand's premium position by demonstrating stylish and imaginative digital convergence solutions in its three display areas - home, office and mobile - giving a full insight into future technologies.
Building on its established image as the world's leading innovator of lifestyle-enhancing products, Samsung's new theme will illustrate the myriad ways in which its innovative digital products can brighten lives for people regardless of where they live, work or play.
Mr. Raafatullah Khan, Marketing Manager, Samsung Gulf Electronics said: "The 'Imagine' theme, which is also part of Samsung's new global brand marketing campaign, will aspire to reflect true human stories that illustrate the life-style changes brought forth by the company's digital products after entering people's lives. Each of the digital environments will invite visitors to imagine how their distinct worlds can be made more fun, exciting and productive with the creative spark of Samsung's design and technology."
Samsung had first launched its global brand in 1999 as a platform to promote all its business areas, and since that time, promotional campaigns supporting the brand have immensely increased awareness of Samsung as the maker of innovative, high-quality products. The new 'Imagine' campaign aims to now elevate Samsung beyond this level, building preference, and not just awareness, among the brand's sophisticated audiences who have a strong appreciation for the company's superior style and technology.
"In just a few years, the Samsung brand has grown to become the world's number one consumer electronics brand. With this new theme, our aim is to expand on this recognition to build a warmer and more emotional connection with our customers," Mr. Khan added.
Each display point will showcase innovative products including the world's largest flat-panel displays in diverse sizes - 80" PDP, 67" DLP and 46" LCD TVs; sleeker and slimmer profile monitors; multifunction and wireless printing solutions; personal digital assistant (PDA) solutions and advanced technology and stylish mobile phones; world's first digital duo-camcorder and MP3 players equipped with built-in motion sensing games.
This is in addition to the Samsung Mobile Fun Club booth that will host fun-filled activities including a series of quizzes and competitions, downloading of audio and video clips onto Samsung mobile phones, and a well-known DJ to keep visitors energised with the latest Arabic and English tracks.
Furthermore, Samsung Electronics has now become the world's number one consumer electronics brand, after it surpassed long entrenched player, Sony. The company is now valued at $14.9 billion and is ranked at 20th position among the top 100 global brands in a survey by BusinessWeek magazine and InterBrand Consultancy.
