Al-Futtaim Technologies launches Toshiba's 'libretto U100', UAE's first mini-notebook

In celebration of its 20th year in notebook PC innovation, Toshiba, the leading technology brand exclusively distributed by Al-Futtaim Technologies in UAE, has recently launched the libretto U100, the company's first ultra-portable mini-notebook PC.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. R. The lightweight libretto U100, delivers an impressive four-and-a-half hour battery life and has an optional battery providing power for up to nine hours. The Super-Multi DVD/CD docking solution featured allows users easy access to DVDs and CDs, making it the ultimate travel companion.
With a fingerprint reader, the libretto U100 is designed to simplify user access and protect against unauthorized access to data held on the notebook through biometric authentication. In addition, built with Toshiba's Hard Disk Drive Protection with 3D accelerometer, a technology that can detect the device's movement on three axis, the mini-notebook has the ability to withstand unexpected impact, shock and vibration helping the prevention of damage to or loss of data.
The mini-notebook delivers a highly superior viewing experience featuring rich contrast, brilliant colours and extraordinary sharpness as a result of the TruBrite 7.2-inch wide LCD screen, the first in its class with LED backlight.
