Danube Building Materials opens new branch in Abu Dhabi city

Leading construction material supplier Danube Building Materials FZCO expanded its UAE network by opening its ninth branch in Abu Dhabi city.

Located on Al Falah Street, the 8,000-square feet store brings Danube's extensive range of high quality materials to the heart of the capital.

"Our Abu Dhabi showroom represents the new face of Danube, with many new features and user-friendly displays. It seeks to add homemakers to Danube's customer base," said Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Chairman of Danube Group, after inaugurating the showroom in the presence of a large number of customers, invitees and staff. "With the emergence of several new projects in Abu Dhabi, we anticipate huge business opportunities."

Mr. Sajan remarked that the real estate sector in Abu Dhabi was in for a major transformation with the launch of mega residential projects like Aldaar, Shams Abu Dhabi and the move towards new property ownership laws. "We believe Abu Dhabi is poised to play a major role in the region's real estate development. As we have already been supplying to many large projects in the emirate, we aim to increase our market share by providing value-added services to retail consumers."

"We have had a strong presence in the Abu Dhabi region for many years, through our branch in Mussafah. Now with a new branch in the city, we are providing added convenience to the hundreds of our small customers," said Mr. Anis Sajan, Managing Director of Danube Group.

The Danube Abu Dhabi City showroom will display a full range of elegant and value-for-money sanitary ware from top brands like Appollo. The showroom is stocking a wide range of shower boxes, glass basins, vanities, mixers and kitchen sinks. It also has a wide display of woods, veneers, laminates and a large collection of hardware with on the spot delivery facility. Also introduced is the new range of aluminum composite panels for indoor and outdoor use. All products are sold under warranty.

Danube has showrooms in Salahuddin road and Al Nasser Square, Deira in Dubai, in Al Wahda Street in Sharjah, Mussafah in Abu Dhabi, a Doors and Wardrobes showroom in Al Ain. In the Sultanate of Oman Danube has showrooms in Muscat and Mabela. Internationally, Danube has recently opened a showroom and purchasing office in Shanghai, China. Danube's main office is in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.

Since its move into the JAFZA area in 2003, Danube Group has reported tremendous growth in the export as well as the domestic market.
