The largest event of its kind in the region, Cityscape is a comprehensive exhibition and conference focusing on all aspects of the property development cycle. Last year's Cityscape attracted more than 10,000 participants from 81 countries. Cityscape 2005 conference has grown by 150% covering more than 10,000 square metres of net exhibition space, with visitor numbers expected to mirror this growth. There will be more than 300 exhibitors at Cityscape 2005 showcasing their projects and services.
David Spencer, Director of Nakheel Golf, will give a presentation on Jumeirah Golf Estates - one of the world's largest golf real estate projects - at 5:10 pm on the opening day of the summit, while Khaled Al Huraimel, will showcase the Madinat Al Arab project at 1 pm on the event's concluding day. Al Huraimel is the General Manager of Madinat Al Arab, the first phase, focal point and downtown area of Dubai Waterfront, - the largest waterfront development in the world. Al Huraimel's presentation will be closely followed by a demonstration of Nakheel's iconic 'The World' project, an exclusive community of 300 islands in the shape of the world, by Hamza Mustafa, General Manager, The World, who will be highlighting progress made and discussing elements of the project's masterplan
"Jumeirah Golf Estates and Madinat Al Arab are two of the most significant projects presently being undertaken in Dubai," said Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, Nakheel. "Cityscape is the premier property investment and development exhibition in the region, bringing together investors from around the world. For Nakheel, this year's event is of heightened importance as, through the past year, our real estate developments have attracted considerable worldwide attention, with many leading investors showing an active interest in being associated with these projects. This exhibition will help regional and international investors to gain a broad perspective about two of our most exclusive project announcements - Jumeirah Golf Estate and the Madinat Al Arab."
Inspired by the elements of Fire, Earth, Water and Wind, Jumeirah Golf Estates draws on the remarkable talents of some of the game's most famous names - among them, the legendary 'Great White Shark', Greg Norman. Jumeirah Golf Estates will offer homeowners the rare opportunity to live in a community that has been carefully planned to meet the needs of the modern family, featuring a variety of housing opportunities, world-class amenities and premier services.
Madinat Al Arab is an urban downtown at the heart of Dubai Waterfront. The project, which occupies the majority of the sea-facing land on the last remaining beachfront real estate in Dubai, will be highlighted by Al Burj, one of the tallest buildings in the world. The first phase of Madinat Al Arab recently sold out for AED 13 billion.
Nakheel's presentations of its innovative projects - both at its exhibition stand and during the presentations at the conference - will be one of the highlights of Cityscape 2005, which features participation from a host of international cities, including Paris, London, Hamburg, Warsaw, Lyon and Cottbus, among others.
"Nakheel has been at the forefront of Dubai's transformation into a city of international repute, having already invested more than US$ 30 billion in various projects that are redefining the city's landscape. Each one of Nakheel's projects is backed by years of research and planning to ensure highest quality and luxury for customers and maximum return on investment for investors and businesses," Bin Sulayem said.
