Taking place in Amman, Jordan, CNN will be sending a delegation to the Regional Conference on Tourism Communications (TOURCOM) for the Middle East and North Africa to be held in Jordan on September 20 and 21.

CNN's Beirut Bureau Chief, Brent Sadler, is representing the international news channel, moderating the conference's first discussion panel addressing the growing Middle Eastern tourism industry. This high-level panel will feature the Ministers of tourism from across the region alongside the Managing Director of the Jordan Tourism Board and other experts in the field.

"We are delighted to associate ourselves with the Middle East's growing travel and tourism industry through this prestigious international conference," said Rani Raad, Vice President CNN Advertising Sales for the Middle East. "Our involvement in this event underlines our commitment to supporting Jordan's tourism sector, as well as the regional tourism industry as a whole."

CNN's partnership with Tourcom Jordan is part of a global initiative to work with the WTO on events supporting the tourism industry. The international news channel is also the official media partner for the WTO's FITUR, the largest international tourism trade fair, as well as the advertising channel of choice for a large number of national tourism organisations from all over the world.
