This year's Back to Business event, held at the new Grosvenor House Hotel was organised by the British Business Group, Dubai & Northern Emirates (BBG) and attended by more than 500 guests.
BBG Chairman Jennifer Bibbings said: 'The event was started several years ago and continues to grow in popularity.
'The various business groups all aim to increase trade and other links between the UAE and their respective countries and Back to Business provides the opportunity to get to know each other, exchange ideas and look at potential areas of cooperation.'
Business groups who participated represented the USA, Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Netherlands, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore, Syria and the International Business Women's Group.
The event was supported by a number of member companies of the business groups through prizes and Emirates Holidays provided package holidays for a lucky draw. Royal Jordanian airlines donated a return ticket to Amman.
The annual event is hosted by a different Business Council each year.
Groups get back to business
Business groups from 22 countries gathered together on Tuesday 13th September for their annual networking event to mark the end of the summer break and the start of another Dubai business year.

British Business Group, Dubai and the Northern EmiratesWith over 600 members, the BBG is one of the largest and most active business groups in the region. Founded in 1987, the Group works towards increasing trade between the UAE and the UK.
Members meet on a regular basis at networking evenings and business lunches to exchange information relating to current and expected business opportunities.
