OKI Printing Solutions scoops number of awards from leading Middle East technology title

The OKI C5250N and C3100 colour laser printers both bagged the 'Editor's Choice' award, while the B4350N topped a monochrome printers group test that included seven other vendor products as the printing solution that offered the 'best value'.

This recognition further solidifies Oki Printing Solutions market leadership role and reputation for highly reliable and durable products, which are marketed under the OKI Printing Solutions brand. The company recently won awards and positive reviews from InfoWorld, IT Week, PC News Weekly, Mac Design Magazine and The MFP Report for its various high-performance digital color printers and new color multifunction products (MFPs).

OKI B4350: "Windows Best Value"
Falling into the mid-range sector targeting homes and small offices, the versatile B4350 digital monochrome printer saves space and increases productivity in a variety of business environments, while delivering exceptional print speeds and high-quality prints. In its review, Windows Middle East commented: "Although the B3450 wasn't the cheapest mono laser in our test, its appealing balance of performance, features and prices made it the obvious choice for our Best Value award. Besides its top-notch speed and quality, the OKI also impressed with its standard feature set and transparent upgrade path."

The B4350 prints up to 23 pages per minute (ppm), with crisp, clean 1200 x 600 dots-per-inch (dpi) resolution. It has a processor speed of 266 MHz, as well as 16 MB memory for standard models and 272 MB for higher-end models.

OKI C5250: "Windows Editor's Choice"
If a company needs to add flair into to its presentations, proposals and other office documents, purchasing a colour laser printer is the sensible thing to do. While this can be quite an investment (which tends to put off some SMBs), OKI is aiming to lessen the burden with its value-priced $698 C5250N. "The C5250N was a gem when put to the test. It flew through our print tests in monochrome and colour, finishing with speeds of 16 ppm and 14 ppm. The OKI is also a quiet operator in use," the review in the September 2005 issue of Windows Middle East read.
The OKI colour laser printer is also praised in the industry for its reliability thanks to market-leading single-pass LED technology and a flat straight paper path that means higher speeds, fewer jams and smoother handling of a wide range of paper weights.

C3100: "Windows Editor's Choice"
The OKI C3100 features a resolution of 1200x600 dpi and comes standard with 32MB of buffer memory, which is upgradeable to 288MB. Weighing in at 20 kilograms and featuring reasonable dimensions, the C3100 is an easy printer to handle. The printer completed the monochrome and colour print speed tests with speeds of 12 ppm and 10 ppm respectively.
