DCCI's Chairman and Director General receives the Indonesian President and Djiboutian Prime Minister on their transit stop at Dubai International Airport

His Excellency Obeid Humaid Al Tayer, Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI), yesterday received Dr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of Indonesia, during his transit stop at the Dubai International Airport on his way to London on an official visit.
Al Tayer and the DCCI delegation welcomed the Indonesian President to Dubai, stressing the interest of the UAE and Dubai in particular, to enhance the political, economic and commercial relations with all the countries of the world through ensuring the exchange of official visits and receiving trade delegations which contribute in strengthening the ties and interaction between Dubai and the rest of the world.
The DCCI's Chairman briefed the Indonesian President on the aspects of economic development which Dubai is witnessing and the major infrastructure projects, the construction boom and other giant economic enterprises which positively contribute to having Dubai rank the top position as one of the most important business hubs in the Middle East and the World.
Al Tayer highlighted the keen interest of the DCCI supporting the business community in Dubai, in addition to encouraging investors to contribute to the development of the national economy through providing them with all needed information and the best online value added services that are in the line with the DCCI's policy and plan to upgrade its performance and activities, which positively reflects on the improvement of the economic and trade activities in the emirate.
He also stressed the DCCI's interest in developing the bilateral economic relation between Dubai and Indonesia through working on increasing the exchange of commercial commodities and trade delegations between the two countries.
The DCCI's delegation also received His Excellency Dileita Mohamed Dileita, Prime Minister of Djibouti, during his transit stop at Dubai International Airport. Mr. Dileita highlighted the remarkable economic projects which the UAE is witnessing and the other giant economic projects of Dubai in particular. He also admired the distinguished achievements carried out at Jebel Ali area, especially the enterprises related to seaports and the artificial islands, a Nakheel project.
