Memorandum of Understanding harnesses efforts by Princess Sumaya University for Technology and Germany's Otto-von-Guericke University

Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Germany's Otto-von-Guericke University (OvGU) this month.
Professor Ghassib signed the MoU with President of Otto-von-Guericke University, Professor Klaus Pollmann, during his recent visit to Otto-von-Guericke University, following an official invitation.
Both PSUT and OvGU will commence their bilateral cooperation in fields of Information Technology and Computer Science, for the purposes of exchanging faculty, scholars, and students. The MoU also brings together the bilateral coordination between PSUT and its German counterpart to study the possibility of starting a Masters program in Computer Science and E-Commerce, and to organize joint workshops and conferences designed for exchanging know-how and knowledge. Mutual cooperation focuses on scientific and technological research and instruction.
Professor Ghassib stated, "The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with Otto-von-Guericke University, one of Germany's leading high-tech universities, is an international reinstatement to the technological and scientific aptitude that Princess Sumaya University enjoys. We consider the MoU with Otto-von-Guericke University as a step-forward for PSUT to promote the scientific and cultural cooperation with its counterparts in Germany and entire Europe in the future."
On his part, Professor Pollmann indicated that his university has the ambition to enhance its scientific cooperation will Arab Universities. And sees that the signing of the MoU with Princess Sumaya University,.as the perfect opportunity to achieve this due to the high scientific and technological advances represented by PSUT.
